Meet the Team
We recognize that all of our patients are unique and deserve to receive dental care that reflects their individual needs. Our experienced and talented dental team is committed to working with you and your family to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding dental experience every time you visit our practice. We are pleased to welcome you and your family, and we look forward to working with you.
Susie
Dental Assistant
I assist Dr. Carmical chairside and with anything relating to lab work. I love watching patients smile and even cry with happiness when they achieve life altering changes with Dr. Carmical’s and our help.
I love the Redskins and make a trek to Dallas every year for the game with my friend even though she’s a Cowboys fan. I always return in one piece to my husband, son, his wife, our granddaughter, and my German sheppard. In my free time I enjoy taking care of my granddaughter, fishing, riding my motorcycle, and drag racing.

Morgan
Registered Dental Hygienist
Not only do I clean teeth and take X-rays, but I am also the office’s Facebook administrator. I am directly involved in the monthly drawings our office holds involving all our “fans” of the page. It is a great way for patients to communicate with us online. I love all the patient interactions, especially hearing about their lives- occupation, family, and any details they want to share.
My passion is mission work. I left my heart in Malawi, Africa in 2010 on a mission trip and plan on returning soon. I love so much about Arkansas. I am originally from El Dorado, Arkansas where my whole family, except my sister and I, still lives. I am a huge Razorback fan of all sporting events. I have even named my dog after their mascot.
Melissa
Schedule Coordinator
My job is to make sure all the different schedules flow in a manner that keeps our office functioning as smoothly as possible. Working with the staff here is my favorite part of the job. All of the individual qualities and personalities come together to create a fun, awesome group. Most importantly, we are all committed to providing the best patient care.
I truly value my great family from my wonderful husband, to our child, two dogs, and even our hermit crab. I have only recently moved back to this area after 13 years away and am on the lookout for organizations to join, though I have found a small church in Springdale. I love getting in the kitchen and experimenting on my family who, whether they like what I come up with or not, always eat it anyway.
Gypsy
Financial Coordinator
I joined the team in 2005. I help you take full advantage of your annual insurance allowance to maximize your dental benefits. I am there to assist you with those necessary financial arrangements for out-of-pocket dental expenses and any coordination of appointments between different specialists’ offices. I am going on 20 years of experience in the dental field, mostly in the clinical area as an assistant. Don’t be surprised if I am the one taking your X-ray or assisting Dr. Carmical with your treatment.
I have two children and love my time by the lake in summer when I am free of my soccer mom duties. I am no fan of cold weather; I would rather be inside with a hot cup of Joe.
Charman
Dental Hygiene Assistant
I am Dr. Carmical’s dental hygiene assistant, responsible for cleaning rooms, taking X-rays and impressions, and keeping his practice and your time with us smooth and pleasant. I visit with each patient and log what has been going on since each person’s last cleaning. This is my favorite part of the job because I love getting to meet new people. Dr. Carmical is an understanding, good Christian man and fun to work with too.
Outside of the practice I enjoy raising my three children with my husband of 16 years. I have been a Cub Scout leader for five years and enjoy fishing. I look forward to each experience and value sharing it with those around me, especially my family.
Kimber
Dental Hygienist
I perform head and neck cancer screening, oral cancer screening, perio exams, prophy, X-rays, and am involved in patient education. Working together with my patients to develop a home care regime is so rewarding because I can watch their oral health improve over a period of time. I love getting to know my patients and find that as I learn about each individual’s family, work, and interests, a wonderful friendship takes form.
I love my big family, which currently includes my husband our six children, eight grandchildren, and mother who lives with us. We enjoy our church activities, target practice, and boating.
